Internships for high school students offer a unique opportunity to get a head start when it comes to gaining professional experience. In a post-covid job market, nothing is more important than hands-on experience. 

As a high schooler, not many companies are willing to provide you with meaningful experiences. Gifted Gabber wanted to solve this problem and provide opportunities to students who demonstrate interest, talent, and ability to learn and grow.

RESEARCH INTERN

Summer Research Students will be paired up with a mentor and choose a research project from a large list of disciplines. Research Interns will learn about research techniques and gain insight into professional research-based opportunities.

CONTENT WRITING INTERN

Conduct research topics/issues based on business needs. Write blogs and essays on topics. Create social media posts and marketing materials for businesses.

SALES INTERN

Sales interns conduct research, make calls and send emails, update records, attend meetings, and help maintain client relationships, among other tasks.

APP DEVELOPMENT INTERN

App development Intern helps with troubleshooting, monitoring updates, testing, documenting, researching, and providing end-user support.

SOFTWARE INTERN

Proficient in Java or Python. Documentation and release notes, help with debugging code. Installation of software and maintenance of documents.

ABOUT

Jothsna Kethar, Mentor and Coach 

Coach Jo, as her students call her, is an Independent Educational Consultant and College Counselor. She is a certified Tony Robbins Life Coach. She trained to identify children's goals and be their supportive friend and trusted adviser. She has also trained under Peg Dawson, EdD., a renowned psychologist. She uses this understanding to coach children to discover their strengths to overcome the hurdles and roadblocks on their path to success. She is a certified Meditation Instructor as well and strives to empower parents in their child’s educational journey.

Jo also runs a nonprofit named InspireYouth, a nonprofit 501©3 organization that aims at empowering youth and foster leadership. InspireYouth aspires to create lifetime humanitarians out of teens by providing various volunteering opportunities to contribute, learn and grow! 

She completed her College Counseling course at UC Berkeley. Building a customized college list is her specialty. Her students have landed in Ivy league colleges such as Cornell, also landing in affordable colleges, winning merit aid/scholarships to the tune of over 3 million dollars in total.
