Pyxis Hacks II is currently looking for high school and older volunteers who can teach middle school students coding or host workshops on their own design.

Even if you're a first-time coder, you will be able to compete. We will host workshops on creating websites and apps, and mentors will be available to help you debug code.
Hackathons are meant for first-time coders as well as more experienced ones! There's no better way to get started with creating websites and apps than with a hackathon.
What is this effort?
Pyxis Hacks II is currently looking for high school and older volunteers who can teach middle school students coding or host workshops on their own design.
How does this work?
Volunteers will be required to attend a training session, and then be allowed to design their one-hour workshop with assistance from our volunteer coordinator.
They will get to teach their workshops to our middle school attendees on the weekend of March 25-26 (the exact time of workshops depends on which the volunteer signs up for).
Can volunteers come up with their own idea?
YES.
Volunteers can also suggest their own workshop if they have an exciting idea.
Pyxis Hacks II encourages students to be creative and follow their passion. Will provide guidance to youth mentors.
How does this opportunity help with college?
This is a great opportunity to mentor and show leadership for high school students with STEM skills looking to improve their leadership skills and give back to their community.
