- Struggle 1: While there are usually only about 5-10 questions on limits that show up in the multiple-choice, many of the concepts (Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, calculating local maxima and minima, etc..) are reliant on you being able to make good use of your knowledge on limits.
- Struggle 2: Differentiation, more colloquially referred to as taking the derivative, is almost always the first “real” Calculus concept you’ll ever learn. Differentiation, or finding the instantaneous slope of a curve (it’s really not as difficult as it sounds), is a skill that has far-reaching applications in math and beyond.
- Struggle 3: Understanding how to implicitly differentiate (when the x’s and y’s are inseparable), how to differentiate or integrate inverse functions, and knowing how derivatives are affected by composite functions are all separate concepts that are important to keep in mind.
- Struggle 4: Integration is the second of the two major concepts in AP Calculus AB, and the skill which rounds out your fundamental understanding of Calculus.

MEET SATISH PURANIK
Hi, I'm Satish
I am a MATH GURU with 17+ years of experience! I am an expert in APs and have trained 1,700+ kids in all levels of Math and Science. Post graduation, I was in Business Management. I also studied Marketing and Engineering and passed in first class. Beyond education, some of my hobbies include teaching math and chess!
So, how did I get here? A Healthcare Company CEO approached me to help his daughter, who was scoring F's in Math. I helped her for a few years and she is now a CFO of a multi-million dollar company! After 17+ years of tutoring, I have had multiple students with national Merit. Every year, my students reach the top 5 in the U.S. in various areas. Most of my students end up with high A's in Math and Science subjects. Last year, over 95% of my students scored 4's or 5's in APs, while the world pass rate was around 40-50%.
I teach every subject from core basics and work my way up. I also provide multiple rounds of practice sessions so that students become perfect in both strategies and operations. I have created “Magic Templates” in each area of STEM APs, which makes my students successful!
