Kay Diaz has been a literary, language, and research educator for over 20 years. She spent four years working for UC as the Program Research Coordinator for the General Education Department on one of its campuses.
She received a promotion to the role of Campus Research Director in 2019.
She resigned her job in January 2023 to finish her doctorate in development education. During her tenure as a lecturer, she co-wrote and published five English books that were widely used on campus.

Jothsna Kethar, Mentor and Coach

As her students call her, Coach Jo is an Independent Educational Consultant and College Counselor.Ā She is a certified Tony Robbins Life Coach. Trained to identify children's goals and be their supportive friend and trusted adviser. She has also trained under Peg Dawson, EdD., a renowned psychologist. She uses this understanding to coach children to discover their strengths to overcome the hurdles and roadblocks on their path to success. She is also a certified Meditation Instructor and strives to empower parents in their child's educational journey.

Jo also runs a nonprofit named InspireYouth, a 501Ā©3 organization that aims to empower youth and foster leadership. InspireYouth aspires to create lifetime humanitarians out of teens by providing volunteer opportunities to contribute, learn, and grow!Ā 

She completed her College Counseling course at UC Berkeley. Building a customized college list is her specialty.Ā Her students have landed in Ivy League colleges such as Cornell, also landing in affordable colleges, winning merit aid/scholarships to the tune of overĀ 5 million dollars in total.

Teaching is Smrutha's passion, and she has been instructing students of all ages for the past ten years. She strives to create a space for students to explore their hidden talents while helping them further their interests and passions. Smrutha is integral to Gifted Gabber and starts and runs various programs. She is the main point of contact for all Gifted Gabber programs.

Smrutha has been instrumental in successfully getting 2022 Summer Research students to complete and publish their research papers.
