Research Publishing
The Gifted Gabber Research program prepares students to publish their scientific journals approved by University Professor in various journals that accept research projects from high school students.
Students can submit final drafts for publishing in Journals that accept research papers by High School Students.
(Note: Publishing journals is student-driven, and Gifted Gabber assumes the role of Mentor, and the cost of publication fee is taken care of by students.)

Expertise: Taught undergraduate and graduate-level cancer biology, immunology, and neurobiology at Wayne State University for more than 10 years. Mentored four post-doctoral scientists, eight medical students, six graduate students, and more than thirty undergraduate and high school students in the laboratory. Planned, developed, and implemented research projects in diverse areas of immunology, virology, cancer biology, neuroinflammation, and complementary/alternative medicine, securing six Federal and four Foundation research grants as well as three Industry contracts. Published 37 peer-reviewed publications (including four publications in 2023), 11 review articles, six book chapters, one journal editorial, and edited one book.
Skills: Studying the cellular/molecular mechanisms underlying the modulation of immune functions in cancer as well as in immunologic disorders. Develop novel immunologic therapies for cancer using transplant and spontaneous tumor models in mice, PDX models in humanized mice, as well as zebrafish embryos. Studying novel mechanisms of monocyte differentiation/plasticity involving cAMP/PKA/AKP6/PDE4 interaction using ex vivo iPSC-derived disease models.

Virgel S. Torremocha teaches culture, language, and literature at the tertiary and graduate level. He has served as Chairperson of the Language and Literature Department at the University of Southeastern Philippines, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Master of Arts in Literature (with Thesis Distinction). Prof. Torremocha holds a Teacher Certificate Program for Non-Education Professionals (TCPNEP). Presently, Prof. Torremocha is pursuing Ph.D. in Literary Studies at Silliman University.

Jothsna Kethar, Mentor and Coach
As her students call her, Coach Jo is an Independent Educational Consultant and College Counselor. She is a certified Tony Robbins Life Coach. Trained to identify children's goals and be their supportive friend and trusted adviser. She has also trained under Peg Dawson, EdD., a renowned psychologist. She uses this understanding to coach children to discover their strengths to overcome the hurdles and roadblocks on their path to success. She is also a certified Meditation Instructor and strives to empower parents in their child's educational journey.
Jo also runs a nonprofit named InspireYouth, a 501©3 organization that aims to empower youth and foster leadership. InspireYouth aspires to create lifetime humanitarians out of teens by providing volunteer opportunities to contribute, learn, and grow!Â
She completed her College Counseling course at UC Berkeley. Building a customized college list is her specialty. Her students have landed in Ivy League colleges such as Cornell, also landing in affordable colleges, winning merit aid/scholarships to the tune of over 2 million dollars in total.
